... and I'm not referring to the driver, heyuck!

This is bugging the heck outa me. This is in a 95 low mile (60K today) mtx. wheneve I get up to whatever speed I want to maintain, and I allow the car to come to a constant speed I feel these shudders. I'm pretty sure the motor mounts are OK. (I tested them ala in gear clutch engagement forward and reverse). It's also got new wires, plugs, valve cover, and plug well seals, so I don't think it has to do with any of that. Also interesting to note, if I disengage the cruise it'll do it, but not if I disengage it by braking consistantly, it's like it has to search for where it wants to cruise when you get off the gas. It won't do it if I'm on the peddle or the brake at all. but as soon as I ease off it'll do it and if I'm going up/down in grade it'll do it a lot.

While I do have an 80 mm Pro-M MAF it does the same thing with the OE 55 mm MAF.

I'm going to have some work done that will require the transaxle removal and would like to know any specific things to investigate while in there and how to investigate them.

Outside of this the car is a joy to drive. Please suggest any components to check and how best to check them. Thanks guys! :salute:

Check codes. Sounds like a problem I was having about 2 months ago. The code told me my fuel pump was no good. Replaced pump, no more shudders :).
