Now i'm getting annoyed with my car. My starter went about two weeks ago. Before my starter went, once in a while, it would be hard to start, It would crank for about 7 seconds to turn over. I figured it was the starter. I replaced the starter and it still was hard to start once in a while. so yesterday and replaced the Fuel pump and the Fuel Filter. It's Still not the problem solver. shoot
It still, on occassion, likes to crank for about 5-7 seconds to turn over. What can it be. Timing? Cam sensor??

Its ur cam sensor- doe sur tach sometimes not work- thats a sure definte sign for a cam sensor- but sometimes the tach will still work even with a bad cam sensor- its only 40 bux easy to replace and it makes it start alot easier...goodluck

The tach alwasy works. how hard is the cam sensor to change. i'm not worried about the price, i'm worried about me having the tools or not.

If a car is slow to start and the starter runs, it is NOT the starter, and could be any number of things, generally tune up type problems not serious. Running the starter for several seconds for many times is ******* the starter and it will fail much sooner, so the cause should be fixed to ease the starter's load.
Sounds like you need a competent mechanic, might save money in the long run as it sounds like you are not into diagnosing car problems.
