After a 10 year hiatus, I've decided to rejoin the forum. I rolled my '89 SHO out of hiding about 18 months ago and just recently started converting it back over to a "street" car. I'm sure most of y'all don't remember, but I did Land Speed Race a blown SHO and set several records. My last outing in 2009 resulted in me being escorted off the track due to a 185+ mph pass due to my inadequate safety equipment. I made the decision to park the SHO and concentrate on my motorcycles. That paid off well because I currently hold the nitrous motorcycle record at 252+ mph.

Due to major health issues this year, it has been a slow go.

Welcome! Best wishes for your SHO, and a quick course correction for your health.

Your return is most excellent news!!! Your health issues aren't though.

Lots happening in the SHO world lately. It’s a great time to return!

Hi Ransom, good to see you back!

And good to see you survived the motorcycle runs. Still have a Busa? I see they're ending production on them.

Hey Ron,

Yes, still have the Busa and several other bikes. Current plans are to sell the street bikes and hopefully race the race bikes in 2019.

It seems they have shut down production on the Busa, but are going to sell inventory in the USA as '19 models. The president of Suzuki still says that there is a new Busa in the works.
