Some of you guys will probably put two and two together and remember me. Bought a SHO for my ex back in August of 2020 and the thing spun a rod bearing about 2 months later. Had alot going on but I finally got around to it.

2010 SHO PP with 118k
Ortiz 93 octane tune
Replacement motor from Lincoln mks 2011 with 40k miles
Rebuilt turbos with extended tip CHRA and replaced a hot side housing that was cracked.
Pulled the PTU and totally cleaned it, drilled a drain and installed a plug. Replaced rear shocks and front struts and springs.
All new powerstop z23 on all 4 corners with carbon fiber/ceramic pads
New t-stat, New water pump, New plugs
Wrapped all the intake and charge pipes with reflect a gold.
Added UPR dual valve catch can.
Painted turbos and manifolds black cerakote, painted valve covers with a yellow gold cerakote (did my turbo for my sled at the same time)
Windows are tinted to 20%, muffler delete with quad tips
20" TSW gray on black rims wrapped in sumitomo all seasons
Also picked up an R1 last year so I've been riding that alot.

I was pretty annoyed when I left the forum so I didn't really take many pictures of the process because I didn't care to share it here. But I can confirm that you can most definitely do an engine R/R out the top without removing any of the coolers or the front crash bar. I believe there may be one or 2 other people since that have also done it out the top.

I am on the fence about selling and moving onto another project. But if not I'm going to start removing trim pieces and hydrodipping as the previous owner had all the chrome vinyl wrapped.
Also need to have the rims repaired as my ex did a number on them with some curbs.
And im gonna probably do a paint correction and ceramic coat on it as well.
If anyone needs any motor components or coolant/vacuum lines ect for a 2010-2012 let me know most of the old motor was still good I just ruined a piston and a cylinder wall, may decide to rebuild it and build a sand rail around it too

Pretty sure 100ll is rough on cats (don't know if you have them still) I don't know if you could actually get any more performance out of it, if you were to use E30. However, I don't know. Good luck.

Well im living up at 8k feet now so the octane isn't really as big of a deal but the low lead helps with extra lubrication and it burns cooler, I just wondered if that would save me from spending 3-4k to run e30 I can't even get that anywhere near me it would be like a 3 hour trip one way. And no emissions where I live now so no cats
