Ya, I caught that. Thought it was pretty funny, and hence my amused reply.

The dog is not mine, though a very nice looker. Beth got it into my profile by accident somehow, but I like it, so I left it. Both of my dogs are large mixed Lab types, one half black Lab and half Doberman, the other 3/4s Lab and 1/4 Cheasepeake Bay Retriever. I suppose I could try to edit down a photo of them for the profile, but I have not gotten around to it.

As far as I know, a turn signal on the front of your car that flahses any color other than amber is illegal in every state. Now, how strictly they enforce it is another story. Depends on where you live. So it would be a judgement call on your part. However, you can buy the Silverstar turn signals. Appear blueish when not lit, but light up amber. I have them and I think they are pretty cool. And plenty legal.

Check you states vehicle code. Not illegal in Illinois which states any color from white to amber. I have the '99 lenses in mine with some PIAA blue coated white light bulbs.

Yes, DOT says that you can have either be white or yellow as the only 2 colors facing forward on your car. So you can use either color in your turnsignals, but the main headlight has to be white.

I thought the original Vancouver was one of those salty English sea dogs, not an American.

Oh, and I am switching coasts in the fall, as we will be moving west, likely to end up on Vancouver Island. All these Vancouvers are confusing...

OK, I will look into changing the icon thing. I think it requires some strange size though, and the first time I tried it the software was rejecting every photo I had, even ones that had been cut down to very small pixel sizes and been used as icons in other places, so I make no promises.

Dieter is a fine looking fellow though.

Was running the clear signals since last October - recieved a fix it warning in Wisconsin in Feb, and last week another here in Minnesota . Last night before the 3" of rain fell i put in a set of Silverstar amber bulbs ( just dont look right now

Thanx everyone for the replys. I'm gonna do it today and see if any cops have issues with them. But with thoughs clear would to fog lights look out of place?
