Idle while A/C is on...

When I turn the A/C on, in my '95 SHO, the...computer, or something? Takes control of the idle and it revs it self sometimes to 2k, sometimes to 2.5k and sometimes all of the way to 3.5k. It revvs up and drops back down, then back up. Not very consistent at where it goes either... Could it be a bad sensor, or a bad computer?

Does it only happen when the AC is on? When it is revving really high, try unplugging the IAC.

Okay, well it did it a LITTLE bit before, not nearly as high last summer. But I started replacing electronics when I couldn't get the car to idle before, I replaced the IAC, TPS, and previous to that the plugs and wires. Could they have given me the wrong IAC? Cause they gave me two of the wrong TPS. Cause there's like 8 or 10 different ones for 1995. Sorry for the long post.

Have you done the 'idle reset' procedure? If not done properly, the symptoms you describe are very common.
