I got my brand spanking new custom seat brackets from @Jordan_R yesterday! Along with a 21 pound Braille Battery....weight reduction kit basically lol! Kirky seat and seat cover shipped. I like the sunroof idea. I'm hoping to be about 4200 with me in it. It'll be probably 4240 in calling it now. I'll weigh it at the track.

@SM105K I'm starting the vinyl wrap tonight, I'll take pics afterwards and post them.
@luigisho Yeah, this is my daily.
@GotGrip? You're smart in getting the CF version. The fiberglass version requires SOOOOO much work to smooth out and correct for paint. It was a trash product to be honest.

It looks ok in person and that was after HOURS of sanding then filling then repeat. My paint guy said it was one of the worst fiberglass hoods he had worked with. I'm wrapping it in vinyl because it still looks only OK.

What's the water incursion potential for issues look like? I love getting the heat out. Newer cars are so electronics heavy though. The look from the photo is great.

This is a concern I have. With the stock hood my throttle body got corrosion in the actuator motor. My plan is to apply dielectric grease to all the electronic plugs and any potential opening. My car is a garage queen but I can't account for driving in the rain and such. This is definitely a risk.

Too be honest, a lot of Evo hoods have larger cut outs in the hood even stock that allow for water intrusion right over the turbo so I can't imagine its a huge problem. I think our best bet for these hoods is just to take precausions like mentioned with greasing and or water proofing anyway. However once the car is on and running the water should cook off quickly. But being rained on overnight with heavy rain may cause an issue. I guess it all depends on if the vents are angles enough for the water to hit the front of the motor.

Off topic, but on topic. Full AC system in the engine bay is 27lbs lul
That’s kinda funny because...little background, Ive always hated open windows in cars and run my air even in 65°.

My AC went out a couple weeks ago. I’m searching and ordering parts for exhaust and calling around to shops to weld it up, changing oil, loading revisions...Everyone’s like, so you gonna do something about that air? Eh, not a priority at the moment. Hahaha.

well you know about 12 ounces of R134a is a pound and most modern AC systems supposedly use 14-28oz.
