iac test question

when testing the iac valve with the 9v battery does the plunger inside move or dose it just make a noise like it is moving but remain still and not move mine will not move only make noise like it is working

It should move away from the end where the wire harness plugs in.

If it aint moving, it aint opening to let air bypass.
