Will the IAC from a '96 DOHC fit my '94 atx?? someone posted a thread that said that the part is smaller, and easier to install
Here are the Autozone part #'s.... '94DOHC 3.2L = TV215, '96DOHC=TV217, '96-3.0L E.F.I.=TV216....HAS ANYONE USED THESE ON THEIR 3.2??? they are 1/2 the price and my idle SUCKS!!!

Went and bought the $100 IAC.. sigh.. would have liked to used the $38.00 one.. As for the crown vic, same as a SHO, pull the air snorkel, get a police interceptor computer('95 no limiter) sea foam the h#ll out of it, get an aluminum or composite driveshaft..(WARNING!! steel crown vic driveshafts are NOT SAFE above 120 mph!!) My '95 P.I. would go over 140 mph, later ones have a 125-130 limiter. Make sure you have NEW u-joints if you are going fast in it...They will break, and usually around 120 mph
Sadly, mod motors are like the Yamaha, nothing is cheap about, or for them.. Some people get a larger plenum elbow, larger MAF and throttle body(5.4 or 5.8 truck) but this will need tuning.. the exhaust manifolds are restrictive($1800 per pair to extrude hone!!) and any headers must be adapted from another application, or custom made. There are several supercharged, and turbo charged crown vics around.. Try CROWNVIC.net.. Good site.
