I recover my shiftknobs.

Got an old Black Purse, an old black leather coat, or even an old pair of gloves?

Last time, I used a discontinued swatch of Natuzzi Leather...went to furniture store, asked for samples. Sales produced about 200 6" x 12" leather swatches. I asked if I could have a sample in black and she produced 4 or 5 discontinued pieces that were large enough. I took the best looking one and cut it to shape, then took the **** to the local shoe repair guy to stitch up...Cost.... $12.50.

Still looks great but there is no shift pattern branded to it.

The time before that, I dismembered my old pepsi jacket...it was leather...and it stitched easily enough. It still looked good when I sold that car.

Haha.. my hand sticks to it pretty bad when it's really cold out. I bring a glove for that situation until it warms up in the car..
