Ok I just got my 94ATX outta storage this past week, changed the oil and put fresh 94octane in it, and b4 i put it away for the winter I noticed that I could smell burning anti-freeze in the cabin after the engine had gotten good and warm. Im going to replace the entire radiator next week but I was wondering what else could cause that smell if it isnt a radiator leak.

Next issue i'm have. I drove the car from the storage garage to my house (30min away) and when I got into town I decided to give it a car wash, so I stop, shut the car off and use the spray washer to clean it up good. I get back in and go to start it, and it dies. (WTF) so I start it again, it stumbles for awhile and dies again. 3rd times a charm, I start it, give it gas when it start chuggin and the it went. It doesnt run rough when driving normal and doesnt stall at lights or anyhting so i figured maybe i just go the engine wet and leave it at that. Fast foward to 2day, it was nice out so me and my freinds were gettin on our cars a little and racing around just goofin off, after about 45min of this, we stop a gas station to get some pop, so I pull in, shut it off buy my pop come back out, and it does the same thing it did at the carwash :madflame: So after a few tries at starting it, i wait for it to start stumbling over itself again then I FLOOR it cuz i was mad(i know this isnt' good on it) after that I parked it. Any ideas? P.S. Sorry for the long read...

well, first thing i gotta ask is if you have checked the trouble codes yet?

id say most likely the reason for the coolant smell in the cabin is your heater core. i have the same problem when my car first heats up. And if i had to assume your hard starting problem, id point out the cam sensor. try replacing that and see if the hard starting goes away

hope i helped!

The anti-freeze smell you are experiencing sounds like the classic heater core leak.Check your passenger side floorboard for any dampness and anti-freeze smell to it. If so it is the heater core and they are a pain in the a_ _ to change.
As for the stubbling and rough idle, are you getting a check engine light? If you are check the codes, however you may also check your plug wells for oil. Did you wash the engine at the car wash as well? If you did you may have water in the plug wells and causing a mis-fire issue.
Hope this helps.

There is no check engine light coming on at all. How much is a CPS? Do you think that is the problem. Oh, and there is oil in the plug wells, what gasket needs to be replaced to stop the oil from getting up in there?

Just because there isn't a check engine light on, doesn't mean there aren't any stored codes. Check them anyway and see if there are any. From your problems, it doesn't sound like the CPS is your stumbling problem. About smelling coolant, do you only smell coolant when you are stopped, or traveling, or both? You can also smell coolant from a leaky water pump when it burns off the converter. The gasket you'll need is the valve cover gasket, IIRC... you get the seals for the plug wells and the cover gasket
