Fast SHO,
As posted above, something is drawing current. Tha "amp draw test" described above is the best way to go.
When you open the hood you will be getting an amp draw from the under hood light, because the light is on, DAH!
Unplug the light or remove the bulb. Check for an interior light, such as the glove box light, that is on. Check the trunk.
If the source of the amp draw is not obvious, then start pulling fuses, one at a time, until you find the fuse that stops the amp draw.
Check your vehicle for any time delay devices, such as an alarm, interior lights, etc. While the timer is activated the battery will have an amp draw until the delay device shuts off. Then you can proceed with the test.
Stay connected the whole time so you can tell the difference between the time delay device and the item that is draining your battery. Sometimes it is the time delay device that is draining the battery because of a stuck relay.
I once found a dime down in the bottom of the cigar lighter that was draining the battery.
If it is not something obvious, like the under hood light, then it is a shorted or grounded connection, or a stuck relay.
These can be as simple as replacing the glove box light switch, or can be a hair pulling experience. I hope yours is the former. rangerj
