How do I get the caliper off lol?

I looked in the chilton's, and it's a POS....I can't find anything to unbolt or unscrew or whatever but I need to change out the front rotors and pads before I gotta be at work lol....so any quick help or guides or something would be nice....

There are two bolts that hold it on. Both are on the back side. One is on top, the other near the bottom of the bracket. Loosen those. I cannot recall the size or torque for tightening them. It's all in the Chilton's, just keep looking.

There are 2 slider pins with rubber boots around them. Loosen them up and take them out...and then use a screw driver, or something, to pry the calpier away from the mounting bracket. Pads should drop out, and you can get the rotor off. You will them need a c-clamp or something to push the piston back in.

You need your tire off first... :D

It is a big Torx bit on the front calipers. Maybe a T40-T45... Not positive on that though.

Note to those using this thread on other years; it's also a 12mm hex for the caliper to slider pin, and a 15mm hex IIRC, on the bracket to spindle up front on the later Gen 2's (which don't use a Torx).

Ok I am an idiot I figured it out lol I was looking for it on the front, then found it on the back...thanks for the help though one thing I DIDN'T know was that I needed a C clamp to push the piston in, so now I gotta go get one of those :(

Use a C-Clamp (or brake tool) for the fronts; DO NOT use a C-Clamp on the rears, or you will break the caliper. It's designed to turn in, not press in on the rears.
