You want to do big, smoky, impressive burnouts you picked the wrong car. Unless you are unnaturally aspirated this car just does not have the torque to do impressive burnouts. You will also destroy your already weak tranny by doing burnouts.
Long story short, get a Mustang if you want to do that.

Buy the slickest, baldest tires you can find, and then put them on another car. Burnouts are a sign of immaturity, not of how powerful a car is, and the SHO tranny is made to move the car, not tear the rubber off the tires.

You wonder why nobody wants to buy your SHO in the classifieds when you start threads indicating how you want to abuse your car?

Ok the question was answered in post #2. No need to rip this guy a new one, doesn't matter how much he deserves it. :squint:

Well I don't know about burnouts in the SHO but you could always do donuts in it! Go get a couple of trays from McD's or some place like that and put them under the rear tires and set the e-brake. Turn the wheel to one side and hit the gas. You will smoke the front tire and the rear ones will start to smoke as well.

And NO, I did not do this....just saw a vid of it and thought it was funny, yet very stupid.

I totally agree with Chris on this one... I was reading the oriniginal post in this thread out loud and no one could understand it until I paraphrased it. Proper english, puctuation, and complete sentences go a long way in getting responses.

I have to say the the simplest way to do donuts in a Gen III SHO is to stop in at Tim's or Krispy, buy a dozen, and then eat them in the car. Of course, if you are a sloppy eater, you do risk getting sticky crumbs on the leather.

Oh, wait, you mean how to destroy brakes and tires and transmissions. Sorry. Back to your regularly schedualed reality TV show.

The only way to do a good smokey SHO burnout is to go out and buy a good photo editing program like Adobe Photoshop. (It's not hard at all on the tranny!)
