Let's just say I have a friend. This friend is rebuilding an engine. This engine has a bit of aluminum that water goes through. Well, this friend doesn't really know what he's doing but he got new gaskets for the thermostat water outlet housing and he asked me if I'd ask you if I... er... if he needed to RTV one, both or none of the sides of the gasket.

Yeah. :thumb:

Just make sure there is a rubber seal around the lip of the thermostat. Thats your seal.
