thy used them on alot of older lincoln stuff. they are good if you need space or have a heavily modded carborated motor where vaccum is an issue.

i am thinking about boosting my car and not sure if i will lose vaccum supply. and if you have the right setup the pedal would be stiffer and less work to stop the vehicle

You plan on using your brakes while WOT? You will still pull vacuum with a boosted engine at idle or on engine deceleration (when you usually use your brakes).

I think it would be less trouble to just run a standalone vacuum pump, if that's the concern. Some diesels use them, I think they can be had in electric or belt driven.

you will still have brakes if you try to use them at WOT for a few pumps of the brake pedal. There is a reserve capacity in the booster. Trust me I did a lot of brake boosting on my turbo ATX. My only issue was melting brake pads and cracking rotors. Never once did I have a issue with my brake booster or the vacume supply to it... unless you count the time I went for a drive and left the line unhooked. That will get your attention in a big hurry.
