Aug 4-6. Days will be pretty booked but might have some time on the 4th or 5th in the evening/night. Would love to see some sights if anyone is local and can put up with me for an hour or so

Check out Balboa Park. They have like 11 or so museums. As I recall, there's an automotive museum.

Depending on how much time you have, if you want to check out all of the museums, they have a special package for that. It's a discounted booklet book and it's a really awesome deal. You do save alot...I don't remember how much since I last went about 5 years ago.

You can check out Old Town San Diego which is within minutes of downtown San Diego. They have really good restaurants but look for the ones that make their own homemade tortillas..not the crap you buy in the plastic bag at 7-11.

It looks like Wednesday afternoon (tomorrow...yikes) is all I'll have for free time. I suspect after dinner tomorrow I'll be dead since 9pm will feel like midnight. Thursday is booked solid, and Friday I'll head back to the airport in the morning after breakfast. I'm staying downtown at the Se San Diego, 5th and Broadway--looks like the USS Midway museum is within walking distance

Don't make special plans anyone--I'm going to be a busy boy on this trip!
