Those lines hold thousands of PSI under heavy braking. JB Weld doesn't belong anywhere near them. Either replace the whole line or cut the rusty part out and just replace that portion.

I hope you're not driving the car while the line is ruptured.

And please replace the line. Don't try to repair it.

not after then blew, i had to coast home and down shift to slow down... i can handle my car breaking down, but not being able to stop is totally different...

i pulled it home with my 2004 POS taurus SE, look, at that it does have a use. lol.

On another note, You could figure out how to put different hubs all the way around the car that have a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and surely find a similar wheel that will fit a SHO correctly. Thats your ticket right there. I don't know how to do it, I'm sure somone here does and will probably chime in on what needs to be done.

If you took the shaft off the hub (containing the studs w a 114.3 spacing) and found yourself a sealed wheel bearing that would fit the OE knuckle AND the hub shaft, then you could have the two pressed into the OE knuckle. The bearing must fit the new hub shaft. It also must be the same size as the OE knuckle if not a little bigger. Take the knuckle to a machine shop and have them hone out the bore to perfectly fit the bearing. Bringing the bearing in and some cash would be a smart idea.

That's one idea..

I think there is a guy in BC that races his Gen 1 and he re-drilled his hubs to fit a Mazda wheel bolt pattern. That might work, too.

I am in okc, if you need a brake line installed shoot me a PM, maybe we can work something out for a few beers or something. **** if you get the parts together we can do a '96 brake upgrade, and it would be a **** of a lot better.

That is provided you keep it on the track from now on. There are plenty of local outlets for drag, road course and autoX... Road racing, especially on one-way streets is a good way to destroy a car, and more importantly you, or someone else's life.

As for the wheels, there are plenty of after market options in our lug pattern, spacers suck, and it would be way more expensive to retro some hubs..

You should have asked for the bolt patterns/offset for the SHO and Mustang. Not all Fords have interchangeable parts.
