Ok I have a 89 and my headlights are really milky looking and I was wonder if there was anyway to clean them up or would I have to replace them? If I have to replace them what do they run price wise per light? thanks in advance.

I have used Eagle One Nevr Dull and followed it up with Blue Magic polish cream. It won't look like brand new lenses, but it did pretty well.

Use this link: http://www.actionsalvage.com/newlight.asp

Your reflective coating(mirror-like) on the backside is probably gone...that happened to Snowwind in one eye.
Allow the inside to dry by removing the bulb on a hot day for a bunch of hours, the condensation will go away..condensation is probably what ate up the reflective coating.
Go to the junkyard and look for any Taurus headlamp lens, there's a bunch there. And any Gen I SLO headlamp cover will work..
they are a snap to replace..really. they talk like it is a big deal but just a pain-in-the is  what it really is.

thanks I might try that. I will look for a pair in the junkyard but I dought I will find any better than the ones I have. Does anybody know what the run at the dealer or anyplace that sells new ones cheaper? The light only goes out maybe 30' when driving down the road when ther in normal mode. When I have the high beams on there not that bad but I know they should be better. Thanks guys.

Well you can't get any old GEN 1 light. It has to be from an '89-91. The older tauri '86-88 had taller head lights and won't work. While you are at the j-yard make sure that you get a few extra head light clips because they break easily. I have a set of very nice head lights that I got at the j-yard.

True, true..I was thinking about going into that, but kind of assumed ones that old, if you could find them, would look worse than what he already has eek! eek!
