Hey guys! I am ready to build an solid ATX for my 93 and I have a few questions. I understand there is a difference between a 93 atx and the 94-95 atx trannys, if I have a 93 built will it be the same or do I need to start with a 94 or 95 tranny core?
Does anyone know what up grades need to be done to make this thing strong enough to last? what are the parts and or proceedures that need to be done?
My car has 175K miles on it, this will be the 4th tranny in the car and I would really like this to a good one.

thanks for your help!

all parts interchange between years for the SHO, many upgrades are needed.
lots of oil holes need enlarging. Sonnax has a good selection of AXOD-E replacment parts for the Valve body, Im unfortunately in the middle of one now :oogle:
what broke in this one dosn't give me much faith in these slush boxes.
Front Planetary sheared at the splines, clean break :oogle:
not much meat there, weak link IMO
