Hey all,
A few weeks back, I was severly frustrated as I had searched the forum for what seemed to be hours for help in figuring out how to adjust the headlights down on my SHO, and I found nothing of use! My lights have adjusted themselves upwards over the past year's time, and the guilt of seeing people in front of my SHO flick their mirrors down made me want to address this issue.
So, here is a picture of the 4mm hex/stud you need to turn to move the beam up or down

for reference, here is a picture of the passenger side,

My headlights are aftermarket "Light depot" units, so I am not sure if this is the same for stock units, but I turned the wrench counter-clockwise to lower the beams, and clockwise to raise them. I am sure this is the screw you need to turn to make the up/down adjustment, so play with it until you get it right, I used a 4mm socket with a 1/4 drive ratchet and it was very easy as I parked about 10 feet from a wall on even ground and lined the beams up.
Hope this can help someone!
