I don't think there are many mufflers out there that would give you a big increase in hp. But still get the Flows. I like that V8 rumble!

The way to REAL horsepower gains is through the proper implementation of bright red "Type R" stickers and Double Decker wings! :D :D

Straight up Dawg!!!! I'm thinking about breaking the barrier and going for a TRIPLE DECKER WING!!!!! :D

Or maybe just this.....

Wings are not my favorite item. Even the little one on the back of my SHO kinda makes me laugh sometimes. The only thing it does is make the trunk lid heavier and fall down on my head every now & then so that I say words like, "Poopie" & "Fudge Stick" (I've got a 4 1/2 year old that repeats ALLOT so I have to watch what I say)!!

Muffler in and out size should be 2 1/4.

As for the gains you will see or how much HP they add. No HP added but there is some freed up so you will get a difference. The sound is much more fun than the gain though!! :D :D

If you want to gain some horsepower, this is what you should do. Get the flowmaster 40's, 2.25" offset/offset design. GO to your muffler shop, and have them cut out the flexpipe, 3rd cat, and resonator. Have them find you a flex pipe that has the correct ID all the way through, because the stock one is tiny. Get the new flex pipe, weld up a straight pipe in place of all the crap you removed. Also, the exhaust gets tiny in the area of the 90 degree bends right before the mufflers, as it goes down to 1 7/8" to the mufflers. Those tips will give you slightly more HP, improve flow, and sound beautiful. Oh yeah, the 3rd cat is considered a muffler by ford, and you will still pass emissions.

My 3 & 1/2 year old is the same. She already has had her own road rage against another driver. I damn near crashed I laughed so hard at her yelling "you big poopie head" out the window at him.

Best thing about any of the performance muffs is the great sound of the small block V8. They will not add much to the performance but after they are installed just walk behind the car and listen. You will be a boy racer again.
