I think it's like $12 or less. Ford Parts Network carries them. It's real easy to change. Just undo the clamps, put the clamps on the new hose and put the hose up to the stops. Just becareful for fluid, prob have some gush out while removing the hose. So obviously you'll have to add new fluid. It's probably a good idea to replace the lower one while you're at it.

The top hose does have some other source that fit but for the bottom hose make sure to go with the stock motorcraft hose. Ford parts network has them reasonably cheap. If you get the bottom hose from them you may as well get the motorcraft top hose as well to make use of the flat shipping fee. It's quite reasonable from FPN and it will look better than aftermarket hoses because it will fit a little better. Probably will last the longest too.

For the bottom hose don't even bother trying to find an aftermarket hose that will fit properly. After spending much time tracking down a match from all the different auto parts stores you'll wind up with something that will be a stretch to fit at best and then you'll be worried if it will fall off or rip itself apart rubbing against the subframe.

mike, to keep coolant from gushing all over, siphon about a gallon or two right from the radiator cap. just get an old milk jug and go to town. a plastic siphon with a handpump can be bought for about $5 from any autostore i think. its worth it! i do this whenever i remove my throttle body and when i changed my t-stat. i drip *maybe* half a cup at most but its tough to avoid spilling when you pull off that radiator hose, so rags are good reassurance. good luck!

I've been using the NAPA 7311 lower radiator hose for the last 2 years with no problem on my '93 mtx.
