i have it charging on 50a beacause i need to get it back in tonight. how long should it charge on 50 amp i think its 685 amp

Hopefully you got it running by now, but just as an FYI, the 50-amp setting is for getting the car started in a hurry.
It shouldn't be used to completely charge the battery. Pumping that much amperage into the battery in such a short time could damage it.
If you need to charge it, use a lower setting and let it sit over night.
If you need to get it running ASAP, 50-amp it, start the car, then pull the charger.

Not COULD damage it, WILL damage it.
Pushing that hard of a charge into it will sulfate the terminals and boil the fluid. This will leave you with, effectively, a dead battery. I hope you can afford a new one soon, because I see a new battery purchase in your immediate future.
Never go above 20A when charging a battery, and try to use the 2A charge whenever possible.

lol thats y i have a warrenty on it it was only for 20 mins or so
FWIW you can push a lot of amps into a battery if it state of charge is low. You can tell by the gassing if it is taking more than it can convert. There should be very little gassing as the gassing is splitting the water molecules.......

it was completely dead left the headlights on
