I must be missing something. I took the top off and after some looking, I do not see any other bolts holding the grill in. Does anyone have pictures on the way to remove the grills in these cars?
the front grill is snaped into the front bumper
The only bolts and screws you have to remove are the four 10mm and the plastic push locks on top.
Then the one 8mm on the lower inside wheel well, three Phillips screws in the outside wheel well, and the plastic Phillips head holding the bumper to the finder.
There are five plastic Phillips head screws holding the under shell to the frame. I have to use an pointer to jab and pull out the head (they are plastic and you can just push them back in when placing the bumper back)
Then the bumper is snapped to the fender and then it all will come off.
It only takes 5-10 minutes to take off the bumper with the upper and under shell connected to the grill and the lower part of the bumper.
You can take the extra time to take the upper and under shell off, I did when I was taking off the bumper off to make sure I was taking off every screw off to see what is next holding the bumper. Talking off the top of my mind, I do not know if you use a 10mm or an 8mm to take the under shell from the bumper.
To remove the upper shell from the grill all you have to remove the Phillips head screws which you have already done that.
r, you will have to take the bumper off to snap the grill or grills off.
