I recently drove in heavy fog and noticed how bad my headlights were aimed. Is there a procedure for aiming? Any special tools/equipment needed?

Oh-to be SHO specific, you'll need a 1/4" ratchet with std and deep 4mm sockets. There up/down adjustor is on the back and the L/R is on the front. IIRC, clockwise will raise the lamp, CCW will lower it. I haven't messed with the L/R adjustor yet so I'm not sure how that one works.

Hey that was pretty good. As far as L/R aiming I've always been informed that you want it towards the right a little bit. I remember when they used to have instructions in the shop manuals. I usually start in my driveway on my garage door and adjust up/down. Then drive a little with it, then do L/R. I just keep the tools with me in the car til I get them right. Another good judge is while at a light check car next to you, where his puddles are...
