While shopping for a used SHO, most salesmen know next to nothing. I'm near par. I've read about neat little features but have no idea how to spot them.
For instance, how do I know if one is a PP or not?

How do I know if it has heated seats (the salesman was sure it's in the radio thing, non Sony)?

Do the seats really massage, where's the button?

Easy way to tell is the steering wheel. If it's got "suede" on the wheel it's most likely a pp SHO

The massage buttons would be on the side of the seat. It's the "4 way" button.

I think most SHO's have heated seats but im not positive. On my 2014 on the main quad home screen the bottom right is all the climate controls and in there you will see the heated/cooled seat buttons and heated steering wheel buttons.

You can also tell a PP if you look to the left on the cigarette lighter there will be some buttons, if you have the PP one will be the traction control off. Im not exactly sure what it looks like because i have a non PP and my buttons are for lane departure warning and park assist.

Also look thru the lower grille, if you see the aux trans cooler than good idea its a PP car, or open the hood too. Look down between the rad and motor to see if there is an oil cooler on it too. Most don't go thru the trouble to retro fit.

Probably the easiest is if the car has a spare tire. If it does, its a non-PP. The PP cars came with Goodyear F1 Supercar tires and no spare.

Easy way is like Ruby res mentioned.......Tires.....NON PP Michelin Primacy MXM4 P/P: Goodyear F1

The standard seats for 2014 SHO was Heated Cooled FRONT. 401A Package adds rear heated OUTBOARD. Most SHOs are at minimum 401A package if you get a 400 that is very rare.

Multi Contour Massaging Seats are a stand alone option.

My '13 PP has MXM4 tires. Was ordered that way. no spare is the easiest way along with steering wheel. In a PP like mine, where the cig lighter would be, the buttons are park assist, traction control and the rear shade

My non PP had MXM4 tires. The spare might have been used so checking buy the traction control button is a dead giveaway.
