The sunshade has deteriorated badly. The fabric is becoming detached. I can remember someone mentioning that the adhesive they used to glue the fabric on is water based. I feel that since my interior is black and the sunshade in the moon roof is also black that maybe I could remove the fabric and reinstall it? I remember someone giving instructions on removing the sunroof? Can't seem to find that thread?

I have removed the sunshade but have been unable to remove the remainder of the felt liner! I have used hot soapy water and scrape method with little results. Man is this stuff on! Makes you wonder how it ever starts peeling. Anyone have any ideas on the removal of this stuff aside of using furniture stripper? SUre would appreciate any advice. Thanks

My material was starting to look bad too. I took mine out and had the material stripped off and painted to match the interior. I liked the louvers in mine because it lets the heat out even when its closed. It looks great. Had them respray my center console at the same time.
