how do i pull codes,i think my cps ia takin a dump

i searched but could not find how to pull codes, i remember ya jump it from the top right to the gray plug but not what to do after that,my 90 started to skip on the way home today,this is the 3rd time in the last 2 weeks,any help is appreciated folks,i,m thinkin crank sensor,but might be dis too help help help

great luck i,m havin, there was no flex coupling on the exhaust, so when it hiccuped real hard a couple of times it spit the exhaust where the coupler was n waded up what was left of a good factory system, ohhh well ain,t life with a SHO grand lol
