I've seen a lot of posts about people asking about the CV joints and linking those problems to the tranny. How could a bad CV joint cause transmission problems? Thanks.

Vibrations? The constant wobble can put an uneven strain on bearings, bushings etc.

You know how everyone tells you to not do burnouts and your trannyt will be OK??

Well, if you have a bad CV joint, it will stick and causing basically the same issue as when you do a burn out, one side of the differental spins faster then the other.

I blew 2 trannys due to this.
Thankfully I had bought a used car warrenty! :0)
