Now see, I swear I saw a SHO with ground effecs the other day (on a website) but I can't remember which one. I'm guessing you don't know of any since you only replied about the hood scoop?! Thanks for your help tho! wink

the only aftermarket hood available for the SHO is a cincy SHO cowl. There are no bodykits/g-fx for the SHO. Sorry

The SHO has no body kits availble for it. Any you have seen are all custom. I have searched and never found any. There is a custom front bumper avaible for the regular Taurus but not for the SHO. The Cincy cowl hood is the only aftermarket hood there is. The SHO sucks when it comes to cosmetic mods as there are very few. We just now got clear corners.
Some have tried to set up a group buy for making a body kit but it has never worked out.

The young'ns who were riding in the back of dad's car 10 years ago and now have it, or another like it, want to make it more attractive outside, I understand and respect that, but keep in mind that all you have to do is design and make your own. It is not that hard, many cars have similar front end sizings (gen2-Honda prelude). Find one similar, and modify, yeah time-consuming, but better way to spend the time than gripping about the lack of parts, when they are right in front of you. Just that the box has a differant name on it. Today I was noticing the benefits of the new saleen front end, cut off the between headlights part, it is modify-able to a gen2.IMHO

speak for yourself... us first gen-ers are still waiting for someone to come out with clear corners for us... :( cry shrug
"Us" who?Not me!Not if clear corners were made of gold, pressed so thin that it was clear, with lighted ruby`s as the bulbs. Not even if the Queen of England was a really *********,who upon my recieving said lenses, would become my love slave. Not even then would i be waiting for someone to make these.I can make them with my mold making and plastics experience, but will i?No,i simply won`t make something i just don`t like.

BTW,kinda on topic, not a hood scoop, but look close at my drivers side fender in the pic.
:)

Is that some sort of louver on your driver's side quarter? Does that help out at all? I've been trying to think up of ways to try to get better airflow to the intake.. but since a SHO is "ram-air impossible" I've been heart-pressed to think of anything... good idea! thumb

Ehm, any respectable (or not) speed parts company will have scoops and such that you add to an existing hood. Mostly they are for craparos and munkletangs, but since you are working with fibreglass to install them anyway, it's no stretch to make them fit whatever hood.

He says there is so much stuff in there that he didnt even know about and it will really help him out. Now I'm going to go get "paid" for what I did. Thanks :D wink :p
