hood with hood scoop

I personally think the GEN I ground effects looks great, especially once u lower the car 1-2 inches. When i first bought my car one of my friends that knew nothing about SHO's asked me if i put a body kit on it. I looked at him kinda strangly and said "no that came stock." thumb

I need to know where I can get a HOOD off a SHO(GenII) I need an extra one. I'm going to put a Mustang Cobra R Hood scoop on my SHO but I don't want to damage my hood. I want a spare just incase I mess up on it.

If you plan to butcher your hood, I recommend you get a sable hood from the bone yard. The under structure is different so you will have to trim it somewhat. Use a prop rod from some other car as well because the hood struts won't fit.

If you like it enough, perform the same mod on your factory hood.

FYI, my freind added a hood scoop to his GEN1 directly over the air cleaner in the corner. The scoop came from an older Nissan 300.

Looks like crap IMHO.
