Hood swap

Hello SHO guru's...quick question -
I just got another 94 SHO with a bent up hood. For a temporary fix, until I can either get a Carbon Fiber hood, or a true SHO hood on it, will a hood from a standard Taurus or Sable fit/work on the SHO? I can grab one of them, cheap for about thirty bucks in great shape at a local U Pull-It yard. Thanks in advance for any replies.

The hood bracing on a regular Taurus or Sable hood can interfere with the DIS module on the side of the intake. Other than that they will bolt right up.

just check on the parts for sale and see if anyone has one.... I have one in my gagrage but it's marblized.... (well is supose to be) but i know somone who has one too so just check around, you should beable to find one in your area for cheap.

Too bad you live so far from me. I have a Red hood off of a 93 that's in almost perfect condition..........need to sell it to get it out of my garage.

Heck...if someone has one they are willing to sell - I'll buy it. Figure out boxing and shipping to Blakely, PA 18447 and fire me out a price.
