Hood Insulation Retainer Part number

Does anybody know the OE part number for the 8 plastic Hood Insulation Retainers? All of mine disintegrated when I removed the insulation.

You can find them in the Help! Aisle of any autoparts store. Forgot the part number but they'll be labeled as ford(they have for ford/gm/dodge and import I beleive)

I tried that and they want $5 for 2. I know I can get a box of 25 for that, I just need to confirm the OE number. There are few styles available and mine are too broken to tell.

Balkamp 665-2103, 12 pieces for $4.99 plus tax at NAPA. They're called hood insulator retainers. HTH's.

I just restored my hood pad. I don' t recommend using those stock-type 1-3/4" retainers because the little catch mechanism they have is too loose and fragile. They tend to let the hood pad droop. Instead, substitute panel retainers that have the serrated style catches; those hold the pad much more securely. I used NAPA 665-1125, which is a package of 13 pieces for about $5. The head is smaller, but still plenty large enough to work with the hood pad. This same part number also works great on our fender liners and bumper covers.

Thanks for the partnumbers. My local NAPA is not as cheap as the ones in the US. They want $ 2 each.

I went to NAPA to get the 665-1125 pack of push fasteners and all went well, although it was a bit more, mainly due to provincial and federal taxes.

While I was there, they showed me their counter book with all the fasteners of this type vacuum sealed to a page with the part numbers (for bulk packages or single items), and it was very impressive.
Whatever one you want, they have it.

Christmas tree style - that's it exactly; perfect term for it; I learned something today Good to know the large head retainers now use that style.

BTW, Amazon and ebay both carry a good selection of these types of retainers at good prices; only challenge is matching their offerings up to our needs. If anybody needs the door panel push pin retainers, those are currently on ebay "25 FORD Door Trim Panel Clips N801925-S 1981-On Ford" $6.99 for 25 shipped.

i bought a pack of those and they snap in half the first time you pull on them, the plastic they used was/iis brittle, not as good as ford part. i wanna try the napa and the advanced ones cause these were only good if youre not planning on taking the panel off again
