Hmm...Starter? ...Help.

Alright here's my problem.

Sometimes my 1994 ATX SHO starts perfect then other times it takes a couple turns of the ignition and then when it finally does start the "Check Engine" light is on and it won't read RPMS. Does anyone know what might be causing this and if you do how much money would it take to fix this?

Ditto that. Pull the codes anyways to see what it comes up with. If it doesn't come up with a CMP code replace it anyways.

How much would it cost to replace this sensor or is it something I could fix?

Uh...wouldn't that be a CRANK position sensor? Cam sensors can lead to a hard starting problem but the tach is run from the crank sensor, is it not?
