Alright, a friend informed me that my spoiler brake light isn't working. I've confirmed it.

Do these have replaceable bulbs? The bulb replacement guides say that a 912 or 921 bulb will fit, but that could be for the regular taurus where the light is in the back window.

My car is a 1994 SHO. Is it changeable? Or is it something weird ford was trying with LED's or NEON like in the 2nd gen explorers?

Did you check the connector? You might just have a loose wire or cut wire.... I have one out of the spoiler so I will look at it and see if the bulbs can be replaced and get back to you.

it's an LED strip. check the wiring first...if it's all intact and your regular brake lights work, head to the junkyard and rape one from any spoiler-equipped Taurus and swap em out.

What? Once you unbolt the spoiler, it's like the easiest thing in the world to change out as long as you're not over zealous with the stamped nuts that hold the 3rd brake light housing in place. It took me about 15 mins to swap out the one in my '94 since I already had the spoiler and lamp laying around my parts bin from my '93.

I think he means the light itself.

I saw one working for sale on Ebay. Try a search. I found one on a junker just by chance becaus eI had similar issue with mine. Cost me $9 at junk yard. Any 92-95 Taurus with that spoiler will work. I got mine from a GL with a spoiler. LOL

I have the old one and my friend is in the process of repairing the LEDs. He does that stuff for a living, so it's easy for him.

I'd sell it when it's done if you can't find one.
