Will a high flow y-pipe mate up to the stock exhaust? I'm trying to do my exhaust in stages as the cats are toast. The rest of the exhaust may have a year or two left. Thoughts....

Yes it will, however if your cat back is in bad shape, make sure you check the ****** at the y-pipe joint for rot/rust/breakage. Even if it's damaged though, a muffler shop should be able to repair it for you for a minimal cost.

Flanges are in good shape. I was just curious about fitment, flow and back pressure.

Same fitment, better flow, less restriction.. your rod bearings on cyl 1 2 and 3 will thank you!

In OHIO, If I remember correctly, only 8 counties have emissions inspection. Most of the time they are around big cities. You can clean your cats and save, maybe.

Don't do that. If its daily driven, it sounds like ********, smells like ******** and you loose a little low end grunt (arguable). But I wouldn't go catless if I were you..

I have Borla without cats, but resonator. Sounds really nice, especially when it's warm.
