Im looking at going high compression over the winter. I spent some time on the phone with Wiseco and got some good answers and quotes. My plan on is going with a 12:1 compression motor with a 93mm bore.
My questions is do you think for street duty will I be able to run 93 octane? If pre ignition happens can the knock sensor compensate for the higher compression? I know most of the HC guys are going 10.5-6:1 and running 93 with no problem.
