When I got this car the fuse #10 was pulled out. When I put it back in the flash to pass works but the high beem indicator stays on even when the key isn't in the ignition.

Any clue where to start? It does not have daytime running lights.

Thanks

Supposedly that had been changed. Maybe something inside it is bad. I'll have to pull one from a salvage yard and hope it works fine.

Anyone familiar with the internals of these? I was an electronic tech so if there's something that can be fixed I could fix it. Very familiar with components and solder ;)

I took the multi function switch out, opened it up and checked it out. There's nothing inside that would be keeping the high beem indicator on that I could see. I did adjust a couple of the contacts so all contacts have constant contact. the section for the high beams I did notice one of the contacts was lower then the other set. We will see if that did it. If not then I'm confident it isn't in the multi function switch. I'll put the fuse in before putting the switch back in to see if the indicator comes on.

Burnt Plug

I may have found my problem. I removed the shorting plug that my car has since it does not have daytime running lamps. The housing for it was a little melted/corroded. I have since pulled it up so it's up by the air cleaner housing for easy access. I may relocate it up there to keep it protected from water.

Now to find out if I plug a DRL module in there if I'll get DRL

Good luck. I've been looking for a DRL module for like, forever and a day...
