Well I was browsing another forum, I am thinking of upgrading my f-150s headlights when I found a company who does proper HID projector retrofits. I also stumbled upon the fact that they have done someones gen 2 SHO all ready.

I thought I remember seeing something about this before but I am not sure.
It's surely worth looking into. I wonder what they charge?

His just sold for $300. I was looking into doing mine. Need to build a vacuum forming machine to to mold the lenses into plexiglass. Then just get the parts. There are a few retrofitters out there. Check out HIDplanet.com for a lot of how to's. I'm reading up.

Also Vnuk1 is doing some not sure if he's doing well or not.

Mine are coming along just the time factor, very time consuming and you do not want to rush a project like this one. Those look great but they're not as "stock looking" as I want mine to look but they look great.

First task after purchasing a set: Take front lens and projector out, paint interior of lenses to match body color, a la Z06. Oh yesh.

Yep, that's my buddies company and those are my lights. He also has my Gen 3 retrofit on there. He'll be working on another set soon.
Do you mind me asking how much they cost to have done? You can PM me if you don't want to post.

Well if there is enough interest,I will vacuum form some headlight covers the correct way. They will be done on a positive mold n will be smooth inside and out. Speak up if there is a demand for this service!!!!

I am going to vacuum form a set or two of covers. Really want to try this out.

How much interest would you need? If it can be done right, you can put me down as a definite for a set.

Ok guys ,i have a buddy with vacuum former and if he is not interested I,ll just build another one ,just bigger this time so i can form larger stuff, give me a little time to do some quick research for what would be the most durable material to use! They will be smooth clear lens, same exact same size as the factory convoluted ones just need to get off my ass n make the plantin, oven, and cast a buck.
