Hibiscus/Flower Rims Finish

For some reason, part of my rim is missing the machined finished that is on the outside of the rim. It is the chrome colored part of the rim where there is not black. It is the machined silver paint near the SHO and I am trying to figure out how to do a fix on it. Has anyone painted these rims to restore the finish or is there a quick DIY I can do to remedy this?

I have a similar problem with my 2011 wheels. See my post with picture in a separate thread. I'd love to know how to restore the wheels to their original condition.
