I’ve been lurking for a while, but finally pulled the trigger and registered. I got a 2017 SHO back in December, and am loving it so far. That being said, it’s almost tragic the amount of performance Ford left on the table with the stock iteration when compared to the potential. Tried to order the pack from GH as a start, but it says they’re out of stock. Once that becomes available I’m looking forward to beginning the process of modifying this car and seeing first hand what this platform is capable of

YEs a tune and few parts will wake it up. go fast spend fast. Look at (poster above) SM105K's long post about mods and such. Really a good track across time modding and revising what and when as far as bang for the buck along the way. The upgraded fuel pump really was a surprise as far as what really performs. Make a plan or a budget and post as things progress

My impression with the fuel pump was for when you start getting into the e30 range. Would it be worth upgrading earlier on in the process?

E30 is the next big step and the fuel system starts to get taxed. So you will gain a bit on a 93 tune depends on tuner but more noticed on E30.
