I'm having quite the hesitation problem. it's between 2-4K rpms. It doesn't happen all the way through that area, for example, sometimes it'll be 2000- 2500 or 3200 to 4000 that the car hesitates. After i shut the car off and then turn it on and go, it's bad enough that it feels like i hit the brakes. MY g/f actually asked me what i was doing because she kept moving forward in her seat. Once I open the secondaries, the hesitation isn't bad but it's still somewhat noticeable. it's almost like the car is resisting or the car is pushing but something inst' opening up. Plugs and wires are new on the car. However I am missing an intake manifold bolt. Could that have anything to do with it? What could it be? any input would be great. thanks.

Does it feel like its misfiring? May be the non-motorcraft plug wires thumbs_u Possibly a fuel problem too. I'd check the resistance of the wires with a multimeter.

What plugs did you install and what gap was used? Have you checked the EEC for codes? There are various sensor failures that could contribute to a condition sa you are describing.

the plugs used were motocraft. I know they're supposed to be the only ones that gap right. The car was fine for a month or two after the job. I dont think it has to do with the plugs or wires. Could it be the TPS? I'm going to have a mechanic buddy of mine run the codes for me sometime this week. Thanks again for the help guys! It's greatly appreciated.
