Hi all, looking for anyone in the Spokane area that is willing to maybe possibly help with some, um, work (what can I say, it's a SHO :nut:) this summer. I am looking to finally do my motor swap, but need to have the one going into the car bench tested...anyone do that or know where I can get it done??? Jones' is the only engine place that we have ever sent our motors or customer's (when my family had our shop) motors for rebuilds. THEY WON'T TOUCH A SHO!!! I know it runs and seem to have run pretty well while still in the 90 it came out of, but the ODO read 91,*** and she couldn't remember if they ever had to rebuild it. (they owned it for around 11+ years and I am thinking around 191K lol). But unfortunately I was never able to test it under a load because both CV axles were shot. (when we took the motor/tranny out of the parts car, the CV axle literally split and there were NO bearings at all in it, it was toast!!!) Also, anyone know it is possible to pull one of these out the top? :salute: (I am just doing the motor) For the three motors in SHO's I have replaced, we just pulled it out the bottom with the tranny, and I no longer have access to a lift for a few days... I desperately want to get this thing running again, I just :dribble: at it every time I see it sitting there taunting me... Ideas, suggestions, etc, etc, etc...lmao. :thankyou:
