recently my 89 sho started dying . it does'nt matter if i'm going 70 or if i'm stopped. sometimes it will fire right back up and sometimes it will take 30 45 mins. when it dies all of the electrical stuff still works but i have no fire. i have already replaced the ignition module and the coil pack and the wiring on the ignition module.still will not let me get anywhere. i have also checked for the weap hole leacking onto the crank sensor but everything seems dry the water pump is a "little" noisy.i cannot for my life figure this out if anybody can help me i would be very greatful

Sounds alot like the famous crank sensor. Did you check your codes? Follow the link in my sig to do it yourself.

My first CPS failed at 51,000 miles with no water pump failure. Same symptoms, and no codes.

Did you check your fuel pressure? Sounds like what mine was doing when I started having fuel pump problem.

How does the tach behave when the car dies? Does it immediately drop to zero? How about when you are cranking the engine to restart it?
