Sorry, my first time posting. No we pressed the button no flowFYI, you posted in the Gen 4 general forum.
Have you checked of you are getting any fuel pressure at the rail?
Sure I've had about 2 yrs. Bought in late summer. Ran beautifully over the winter. Once my first summer hit. I would come home from work and it would die out. Really hot out it stop. Anywhere 5 mins to an hour later it would up and run fine. So id have to be very leery of my journeys. Winter time came no problem at all. Now this past summer enters the first day over 80°. It stops running in the middle of me driving. It hasn't ran under its own sincecan you give us some background on the car that led to you changing the fuel pump and relay
has the car been sitting or just stopped running after being driven regularly
The little small relay? I've changed the big flat one one the radiatorso you changed the relay module on top of the radiator? Is there any priming noise at the pump before engaging the starter?
I mean I've heard it but.... I don't it was actually pumping. I also had a drunk box hooked up to it. With two wires a solid blue Light blue, and alight blue with a red stripe was connected to the box but now just free once the box was remso you changed the relay module on top of the radiator? Is there any priming noise at the pump before engaging the starter?

I wonder if there is something going with your fuel pressure regulator. I have seen them fail putting out too much pressure though, not no pressure. What luigisho posted above would be the first thing to check. Is your car an MTX, then it would be an D code (94 and 95 MTX had a different letter than earlier year MTX cars). If you car is an ATX, it would be a J code.Sure I've had about 2 yrs. Bought in late summer. Ran beautifully over the winter. Once my first summer hit. Okay, now I went to the junk to replace that. Not exactly sure if that Cap letter was the same. However, the last couple of months its been at a shop. I believe he bought the right one. Now the mechanic says he can't find the issue. He believes it to be the ecm or wiring going to the pumpYes there is a relay module on the top of the radiator that contains several relays. It has a capital letter on top that must be the same as the replacement. Not all are interchangeable. For example, early ones from 89-92 look like this. It must be replaced with an M unit if you get a used replacement

Yeah, it was humming fairly loud before it quit on me. There isn't a J nor a D code in my vinI wonder if there is something going with your fuel pressure regulator. Before you replaced the fuel pump, was it humming when you turned the key to the on position, but not starting it.
Now i just noticed the vehicle body section has a P4DYeah, it was humming fairly loud before it quit on me. There isn't a J nor a D code in my vin

Its a manual. I thought you meant in the vin. I'll look. I don't know it the shop got rid of it or not. Actually, my car just pulled up from said shop off the tow truck. The vin doesn't directly match the ccrm (that relay module). Certain model years match up with certain ccrm codes as modules slightly differed internally enough to make them not 100% compatible. Is your car a manual or automatic transmission car? When you get the year and the engine (3.0 MTX Manual transmission vs 3.2 ATX auto transmission) then you can get the correct coded ccrm that operates with that vehicle. Since that is what was changed and you aren't sure about the installed part, that was my first thought. You may indeed need a computer or anything else.
The P in your vin leads me to believe that you have an automatic transmission car and that corresponds to a J code CCRM. If you have a manual car then the correct code is D.
SHOsource has the breakdown here

CCRM Module (Used) (89-99)
A common failure item on a SHO is the CCRM module. It is located between the plastic radiator cover and the radiator. The CCRM controls the fuel pump and the cooling fan circuits. Common symptoms of a failed CCRM are "no power to the fuel pump" or "cooling fans that do not operate." The good...shosource.com
This thread needs to be moved to the correct forum section. I'll flag the post for a mod to move it. Keep an eye out in the GenI/GenII maintenance section
Its a manual. Idk the original numbers. Like I said the shop gotten rid of it.Ok the VIN differences for transmission are Y for manual and P for automatic. I forget the position maybe 7th or 8th position in the VIN? I forget
Is there anyway to check what the original part number would have been? Its a manual. Idk the original numbers. Like I said the shop gotten rid of it.
