Help!

So my SHO just Threw CEL and service suretrac. Code for cel is MAP sensor and knock sensor isn't reading on my SCT device. Can't accelerate and bogs way down when I tried. Any advice?

Sounds like MAP is bad. Can you return to stock config and tune easily? If it runs correctly on stock tune and original MAP then you can get a high confidence it's the map. If the knock sensor is still pinging then you have an issue. The computer could have a glitch but easy stuff first if available.

Put stock MAP on and returned to stock tune and car runs and drives fine. Knock sensor still not reading on my SCT. Maybe sent a current when MAP failed and knocked out knock sensor?

Wow. maybe. You think a replacement would work? That's my first guess. How much digging to get at it? block valley?

I guess the wiring chafing and shorts out also common.

Yes i was gunna post about the knock sensor wires chaffing. Its common, cheap wires and bend at the sensor and tight fitment cause it
