HELP.. WOT no go

hey I have had it running ok for bout 2 weeks. It has a small exhaust leak that is being fixed soon. 93 mtx . But now while driving if i put the pedal all the way down, it basiclly stops. the revs drop all the way down and it makes weird noises. if i jsut ease into the gas it will climb up to 6 grand but only that way. If i jsut gun it no power. it thought i might have a leak in the intak emanifold so i took it all off and redid all the gaskets and seals and put it back on. The only code i get is 551 " idle air control error " and that is for idle not WOT PLZ PLZ PLZ help me

i did some looking around and tryed undoing the MAF sensor. That did it. Now what does this mean ? do i need to clean it ? replace it ? I was thinking about upgrading the intake anyways should i just get the 80mm MAF ? whats the best way to go ?

If you have the money by all means buy the Pro-M 80mm MAF. Every person that I've heard get one has loved it. Otherwise trying cleaning the MAF with electrical contact cleaner for now. You can spray it in the small hole behind the screen on the MAF. Doesn't always do the job either. If you really wanted to spray it good I'm sure you could remove the MAF sensor from the body and spray them contact elements down.
