My rear end is making noise and i need to know what to shove in there to shut it up. ;) Ok the rear end clanks all the time and there is so much sag. I need to know the cheepist route I can take to left the rear end and stop the clank. I plan on doing it better later I just don't have the money now. oh its first gen. brother of shadowheed

You could always try a cork for a quick fix; rear end won't make so much noise but after so long anyone around you will be in for one **** of a surprise.

You probably shouldn't be riding it so hard in the future, so stop bouncing around 'just for fun'. :D

Sag = need new springs, and most likely struts if the springs are worn out. The struts might be the cause of the clunking, but more than likely some new bushings in the rear would help too. Check swaybar endlinks, they're a good candidate for clunking.

Yup, the swaybar endlinks tend to lose their rubber parts and clunk, also the strut mounts tend to clunk. In your situation, I put Monroe quickstruts on the back of my white 94 - it was a good decision.

It is not a good idea to replace just the front or the rear shocks by themselves. Let alone replacing just the rear left. The suspension system is just that IT IS A SYSTEM.

Its like seeing people driving on three - 28" DUBs and one 13" doughnut. :laugh_ti:

Please be safe, a suspension system is nothing to toy with.

IF the clunk sounds like it is coming from the rear pillar area, it is the rear strut mount rubber that has stretched out, and the metal is hitting. Very common failure
