Another question.

My driver's door power door lock is odd. When I press and/or hold the button to lock or unlock the doors, the driver's door makes a rapid clicking sound. Sometimes, after a couple of seconds, it will do as told. Sometimes, nothing.

Any ideas what's causing this?

Thanks.

Well, I'd buy that theory but it's been doing this for a few years. Just never thought to ask.

Also of note, the interior door handle on my driver's door has a little "play" in it. Meaning, I can wiggle it back and forth a bit and there's no resistence (unlike the other three doors that seem to engage and provide resistence immediately).

Also (again), if I hold the handle at the point where there is some resistence (maybe pull it 1/4 to 1/2 an inch) the door lock works fine.

Somehow, the two are related. I just don't understand how the system works to know how to fix it.

Any info or ideas?
